Essence Mists

These
Essence Mists are blends of energetic essences which
interact with the energy field, or aura, of a being
(human or otherwise) or a space to bring about
positive vibrational shifts, supporting healing,
centering, and peace for all concerned. Mist them
on the body, in the bath, or in the energy field.
Mist them in the working, living, or playing space. Healers mist their hands and then use the hands to
work in the field of the receiver.
Mist on the body or in the living
or working space to clear & charge a being or place,
creating a shield of purification & protection and
bringing in positive energies. This is a wonderful
mist for the healing room. Use before and after
healings to cleanse and purify the space or healing
tools. During a healing, use to diminish density.
Use at the end of a healing to send the receiver off
with protection and light. In working in the energy
field of another being, the healer sprays the mist
on her own hands and then passes her hands through
the field of the receiver, affecting the energies
without directly spraying the receiver (which could
be startling!)

a holy water used for blessings, healing, and
sacred ceremony.
What is
Smudging?
Smudging is
a native ceremony of purification and cleansing
which is performed before entering the sacred space
of prayer, healing, or ceremony. It relieves the
being or space of any negative influences and brings
in positive influences and support.
Dry herbs are
placed in a clay bowl or other natural vessel. They
are lit with a flame. The smoke is gathered with
the hands or with a feather and brought toward the
individual. The smoke is used to wash away
energetic impurities or charge with good energy. It
is often drawn up and over the shoulders and the
crown. It is drawn into the heart. The healer
often washes her hands in the smoke.
In smudging a
space, the smoke is gathered and directed into each
of the four or seven directions and/or carried
around the perimeter of the circle or room.
Prayer of
the Sacred Earth is a smudge mix made up of four
sacred herbs – cedar, sage, tobacco, and sweetgrass.
It is used for calling Sacred Space, for purifying
and cleansing, for bringing in positive influences,
and for sending prayers out to the Universe.
