A healing modality and a method of spiritual development.  The Reiki Healer uses gentle touch and the energy of the Divine to awaken the body’s natural ability to heal itself and the spirit’s natural ability to calm, comfort, and discover itself.  The Reiki Healer can support friends, family, clients, animals, plants, and the Earth Herself with this work, but also uses it to support his/her own healing and transformation. 

The process of learning and practicing Reiki initiates personal and spiritual growth, bringing the practitioner closer in alignment with the Universe, enhancing understanding of his/her purpose in this world, and deepening his/her love of self, of other beings, of Mother Earth, and of Creator. 

Reiki is not a religion or part of a religion.  Individuals of all cultures and all spiritual paths practice Reiki.  Reiki for a New World, developed by Sunemaura O’Brien, is Usui Reiki Ryoho (the Reiki System founded by Dr. Mikao Usui, founder of Reiki) for those who are on or would like to be on the Path of the Earth Healer.

Assists students in developing an understanding of metaphysics and of spiritual law.  These courses are comprehensive and yet easy to master. The knowledge gained in this self-study program is not only valuable to the individual, but also prepares students for greater service to humanity.
